We are collaborating with the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology to present a unique concert, as part of their current interdisciplinary exhibition on Countess Elisabeth Greffulhe, the renowned queen of the early Twentieth Century Parisian salon. Muse to artists as diverse as Rodin, Proust, and Faure, she inspired an entire generation of creatives. The program will include Beethoven's String Quartet in F Major, Op. 18 No. 1, Stravinsky's Three Pieces for String Quartet, Ravel's String Quartet, and Fauré's Pavane, dedicated by the composer to the Countess. Admission is free, but listeners are encouraged to register with the museum to secure their seat.
